Formula and limits
TiB = TB × 10¹² ÷ 2⁴⁰. After the entered reserve, multiply by (1 − reserve ÷ 100). A reserve of zero shows the conversion only; it does not claim zero filesystem overhead.
GB and TB on drive labels use decimal units. GiB and TiB use powers of two. Some operating systems display binary capacity with a decimal-looking label; compare the number of bytes when in doubt.
